Windows 10: JW Library fails to update

I've had this issue for many months, and I think I found a solution. When you uninstall Library, you have to go through and remove all instances of the program. You may have to allow file explorer to show hidden files and look for folders called Watchtower in folders like AppData and Temp and delete all those instances. Then download or reinstall the ISO, it should work.

Error Message for Update to JW Library

I downloaded the JW Library app to my Windows 7 Pro laptop that has been upgraded to Windows 10 prior to the download. The app opens and functions properly. However, I continue to get a popup "System Update Needed" with the message "The next update of JW
Library will require Windows 10." On my Android smartphone and tablet with JW Library installed, I already have received the update to JW Library.

I am assuming that the app cannot distinguish that I have Windows 10 already installed. My laptop is about 4 years old. How can I get the JW Library app to recognize that I already have Windows 10 on my laptop so that I can get the update?

JW Library is only available for Windows 8 at the moment (not Windows Phone 8). I suggest you talk to the publisher of the app and ask them to release a Windows Phone app too.
