    iZotope Ozone 9 not responding with new windows update 2021


    A few months ago my PC did its usual automatic update and the next morning I went to open my music software on an already started project and it kept crashing and wouldn't get to the point where I could actually use it. I opened a new FL Studio blank project and it worked fine. I went to add a 3rd party reverb plugin to a mixer slot and the whole program crashed. Same thing happened when I tried to open iZotope Ozone In FL Studio. I then tried to open Ozone in standalone mode just as an app by itself and it wouldn't respond or would be frozen for about 10 minutes then slowly load over 5 minute

    Crash on user app Izotope Ozone 9

    I have a problem with an audio recording mastering program. Both Izotope Ozone Versions 6 and 9 will abort and close while scrolling through the programs pre-sets while a song file is playing on my recording studio desktop (My computer). I installed Ozone 9 on a laptop that I use for off site recordings and it doesn't do it. Other users report it does not do it so its a problem with the DAW desktop.

    Here is the Event viewer info on the app crash. And, report.wer (txt)

    I installed Izotope Ozone 9 software and was told it could not open because of missing dll files.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
