Windows 10: It looks like a total loss of all my Files, Short-Cuts, Apps, Favorites, Open-Website-Tabs...

I, left my computer in sleep-mode over-night...Then the next morning, when I went to log in. I noticed that my original background on my computer had changed, and when I logged in to my windows screen. There was short-cuts, and other items that were placed on the page that where gone. It looked as if, it reset itself to factory settings or something. Any help, tips, or solutions to this problem would be greatly appreciated. P.S. My computer automatically updated from Windows 10 to Windows 11, and ever since I've been having issues, with losing tabs to websites I had opened on the Microso

Dropped short cut

Once again I find myself looking for a long used short cut. Apparently Windows 10 and Bing do not like Yahoo. I downloaded 10 and was comfortable navigating around. The next day, I logged on and Yahoo was among the missing. Easy to go to Windows Edge
and then to Yahoo, but the program will not right click to a drop down and choices of creating a short cut on the desk top. I tried Mr. Smithers fix to get Google Earth back, but yahoo is not listed in the "Apps' section. Any suggestions. Thank you in advance.

To open Favorites websites in a new tab you may try the following steps:

1. Right-click on the favorite website link
in Favorites window and select Open in New Tab.

2. Press Ctrl key on the keyboard and click one by one
on the favorite website links that you want to
open.
