Windows 10: Issues with transfer of W10 license to upgraded PC

I have recently built a new PC to meet the needs of W11. I am trying to transfer my full retail W10 license. Activation troubleshooter continually comes back with "Our servers are busy. Try later." My "new" PC and my "Old" PC are both using my MS Account login, but under "Devices" I don't see my new PC. And of course, the "Register Device" button only accepts commercial Microsoft products by Serial Number; I can see no way to say "Hey, this PC I'm signed in on - can you register this?" I buyed a Windows 8 upgrade when I had a W7 OEM version. I recently did W10 upgrade.

Can I transfer this license to my new PC ? (I have noted my W8 product key).

• Which Product key or License key you need to transfer and to which PC you need this transfer require?

Let me confirm that, starting with the November update, Windows 10 (Version 1511) can be activated using some Windows 7,
Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 product keys.

How to transfer Windows 10 license to different PC and MS account

Hi Everyone, I need to upgrade from Windows 7 to 10 and I think I may be able to do it via an unused Win 10 gaming PC that is around the house. It belonged to another member of the family. I have reset the unused PC and done little else with it. I have gathered the following details:

• Windows 10 Home product key
• MS account user-id and password
• confirmation that the license is a digital license
• It is: Installed from 'Full Packaged Product' media

Most of the advice I see in online searches is for people swapping their own Win 10 license to a different PC. I have seen some advice online that may be relevant e.g. my kind of transfer is not just a matter of installing and entering the Win 10 product key. Does anyone have advice or know of links to steps for this kind of a transfer?
