Hey Community,I'm experiencing a bit of a hiccup with my Easy Setting Box ESB on my Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor. Maybe some of you have had similar experiences and can lend me a hand.Everything runs smoothly when I initially start ESB. I can tweak all the settings, and it works like a charm. However, after a certain period, sometimes as quick as half an hour, I encounter an annoying issue. Suddenly, no pop-up windows appear on the screen, and I can't access them anymore. ESB continues running in the background, but interaction becomes impossible.The only solution I've found so far is to compl

Samsung unveils Odyssey Neo G9 gaming monitor

World’s First Mini LED Curved Gaming Monitor With Quantum Matrix Technology Delivers Groundbreaking Gaming Experience, Available for Worldwide Preorder From 29 July

Samsung Electronics, the gaming monitor market leader,* today announced the global launch of its next-generation curved gaming monitor, the Odyssey Neo G9 (Model Name: G95NA), enhanced with Quantum Mini LED technology. The Odyssey Neo G9 joins the Odyssey lineup, taking gaming to the next level with Quantum Matrix technology, supported by Quantum Mini LED display and Quantum HDR 2000 for an immersive gaming experience.

With the previous launch of the Odyssey G9 in 2020, Samsung pushed the boundaries of premium gaming monitors with smooth and brilliant picture quality. Now with the industry’s first Quantum Mini LED curved display delivering the most refined detail regardless of the game played, the Odyssey Neo G9 is catapulting the gaming monitor category forward. Featuring Quantum Matrix Technology combined with super-fast response and refresh rates, Odyssey Neo G9 delivers an unrivaled dynamic picture and premium performance for all gamers.

The Odyssey Neo G9 utilizes the same Mini LED technology built into Samsung’s latest Neo QLED lineup. This next-generation display technology is enabled by a new light source, Quantum Mini LED. At 1/40 the height of a conventional LED,1 the Quantum Mini LED has incredibly thin micro layers filled with many more LEDs.

Additionally, Quantum Matrix Technology, which harnesses enhanced 12-bit gradation for greater control of the light source – the Quantum Mini LEDs makes dark areas darker and bright areas brighter with 2,048 dimming zones, ensuring viewers enjoy the content as it is meant to be seen. Quantum HDR 2000 offers a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, with certification received from VDE (Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker), alongside a static contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. In addition, Samsung’s cutting-edge picture quality technology provides perfect black and white levels, for unparalleled contrast and immaculate detail.

Based on the high performance technology pioneered by the current Odyssey G9, the Odyssey Neo G9 features an ultra-wide 49-inch display with a 32:9 aspect ratio that offers Dual Quad High-Definition (DQHD; 5,120×1,440 resolution) with a rapid, 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time.** The futuristic and immersive 1000R curvature of the monitor was certified by TÜV Rheinland, a leading international certification organization, awarding it their Eye Comfort certificate.

The Odyssey Neo G9 provides Adaptive Sync on DP1.4 and HDMI2.1 VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) through HDMI 2.1 with NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatibility and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, delivering dynamic and seamless action scene-by-scene for a groundbreaking gameplay experience.

The display seamlessly fits into any gaming setup or environment, with a glossy white exterior and futuristic rear infinity core lighting system, which includes 52 colors and five lighting effect options. The monitor also comes with the CoreSync feature, allowing users to personalize their setup with the multiple color mode, for world-blending immersion.

Samsung’s Odyssey Neo G9 with Quantum Mini LED will be available for preorder from 29 July 2021 and be available globally by 9 August 2021.

New Samsung Odyssey 49-inch OLED G9 gaming monitor

World’s first 49-inch OLED gaming monitor with a 0.03ms response time and 240Hz refresh rate is now available for pre-order Samsung Electronics America today announced the launch of the Odyssey OLED G9 gaming monitor (G95SC model), which has been enhanced with next-level AI upscaling technology. Building on the success of Odyssey OLED G8 (G85SB), the new monitor joins the lineup to open a new era of OLED gaming. Measuring 49 inches in size with a 1800R curvature, the Odyssey OLED G9 is the first OLED monitor to offer Dual Quad High Definition (DQHD; 5,120 x 1,440) resolution with a 32:9 ratio. The high pixel density (110PPI) provides more detailed game contents. With the large and wide screen ratio, users lose themselves in super-ultrawide view — equivalent to two QHD screens side by side. At the same time, its rapid 0.03ms gray-to-gray (GtG) response time and 240Hz refresh rate offer players a competitive edge.

“The Odyssey OLED G9 delivers a premium, super-ultrawide gaming experience that puts it in a class of its own – raising the bar for OLED monitors,” said James Fishler, Senior Vice President, Home Entertainment & Display Division, Samsung Electronics America. “With the launch of our Odyssey OLED gaming monitors, we’re offering gamers new levels of immersion with unrivaled picture quality and innovative gaming features only Samsung can deliver.” The addition of the Neo Quantum Processor Pro sets the Odyssey OLED G9 apart from other OLED gaming monitors. Using a deep learning algorithm, it intelligently analyzes images and automatically upscales to adjust brightness while amplifying contrast. This enables the monitor to restore each detail and deliver the most brilliant images, pixel by pixel. AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro further enhances the Odyssey OLED G9’s super smooth gameplay experience. With DisplayHDR™ True Black 400, the monitor delivers incredible details and vivid colors regardless of the game being played or the content the user is watching. The Odyssey OLED G9 features a slim design housed within a sleek metal frame. The back of the monitor includes Samsung Odyssey signature CoreSync and Core Lighting+ which use advanced lighting technology to match the colors on-screen, making content more immersive and bringing the gaming experience to life. Built-in stereo speakers complement on-screen content with crisp sound.

The Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SC) is now available for pre-order on Samsung.com from June 12-25. Those who pre-order the monitor will receive a $250 Samsung.com gift card.
