Windows 10: Issues logging into my laptop

I have been having trouble with windows latly, and I suspected I have a currupted version of windows. I wanted to use the sfm /scannow to find and fix currupted files, but I kept recieving errors the it could not finish. upon googling the error code, I was was going to attempt one of the fixes sugested in a coment thread, and ended up changing the boot startup settings so I think that it would startup in safe mode and I would run the scan from there. upon restarting, I found myself locked out of my computer. My microsoft account password in not being accepted. I went ahead and changed it, and still it will not accept the password. I held shift and restarted, and meandered through the advanced startup options, but to do anything I still need my computer to accept my microsoft account password, and it just says the password is incorrect. I literally have no idea where to procede from here, and any advice would be much appreciated.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

Unable to log into laptop after changing password.

We understand how difficult it could be and we appreciate the time and effort that you have taken to work this issue. However, in order to get clarity, we would need some more information regarding the issue.

1. Were you using the “Old email (account) address” regardless of not using laptop?
   
2. Are both the email addresses linked?
   
3. Could you please let us know, where exactly you get prompt for the password for the “Old email address” in the desktop?
   
4. What is the exact error message you get when you try to log in to laptop?
   
5. Does your desktop has two user profiles?
   

In the meantime, we would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check.



You would need to have internet connection in laptop, so that the password change could get updated and it seems that the laptop is not connected to the internet, we would suggest you to connect Ethernet cable to laptop and then
try logging in to the laptop with the new password for the old email address.
