    Good day, I am currently experience some Bluetooth connectivity issues on my pc. My motherboard is the Asus ROG strix b650e-i wifi in case you might find it relevant. The issue is that whenever I pair a particular headset Audeze maxwell to my pc, it plays audio fine for a while 5~10mins before audio completely cuts out. After the audio cuts out the device remains paired to the pc but no audio is being heard. This was really weird as it seems to only happen with that specific headset, and all other headsets work fine when paired with the Bluetooth. It gets even more confusing when I also no

    Bluetooth Connection Issue: Unable to Connect Headphones After Uninstalling Mediatek Bluetooth Driver

    Hello everyone,

    I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with my Bluetooth connection and I'm hoping someone here might be able to offer some insight or assistance.

    For context, I've been having trouble connecting my Bluetooth headphones for the past couple of days. Whenever I attempt to connect them, they initially show as "Connecting..." for a long period, and then eventually display a message in red text stating "We didn't get any response from the device. Try connecting again".

    In an attempt to troubleshoot the issue, I found that uninstalling the Mediatek Bluetooth driver should have fixed the problem. However, after reinstalling the driver and restarting my PC, I'm unable to connect my headphones at all. The same issue persists, and I'm unable to establish a stable Bluetooth connection.

    I've tried updating the Bluetooth driver, resetting the Bluetooth adapter, and checking for any interference from other wireless devices, but nothing seems to resolve the issue permanently.

    Here is my system information:

    • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor
    • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX, AMD Radeon™ Graphics
    • Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI
    • Audio: AMD High Definition Audio Device, Realtek USB Audio, USB Audio Device, Sonic Studio Virtual Mixer
    • Network and I/O: Intel® Ethernet Controller (3) I225-V, MediaTek Wi-Fi 6E MT7922 (RZ616) 160MHz Wireless LAN Card, TAP-Windows Adapter V9, PolarBear Tunnel, Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network) #2
    • Memory: 32 GB
    • Storage: Lexar SSD NM710 2TB
    I'm at a loss for what to do next, and any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem, and if so, were you able to find a solution?

  3. Wifi/Bluetooth adapter issues/ maybe virus

    Hi Nath,

    Try re-enabling your third-party anitivirus and do a full system scan. Once done, and if Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is still not working, try to uninstall and reinstall both drivers. Follow these steps:

    1. Right-click on Start menu button, and select Device Manager.
    2. Expand Network adapter section, right-click on your Wi-Fi driver and select
      Uninstall device.
    3. Repeat the steps for Bluetooth driver.
    4. Restart your computer.

    Both drivers should reload fine after the restart. If it doesn't, I suggest manually downloading and installing the latest wireless network adapter and Bluetooth driver from your computer manufacturer website.
