Windows 10: Issue with Ctrl + Right Arrow, moving cursor one word to the right

I have long used keyboard shortcuts to navigate docs. Unfortunately, on my Dell XPS13 laptop, I can no longer use Ctrl + Right/Left arrow to move the cursor one word right/left. This is wreaking havoc on my document navigation and editing. This is particularly problematic in Google.This was an issue for me in the only windows XPS account I was using on my XPS. Recently I added and am using another account to separate work from personal. I happened to notice that a Google account I use on the new XPS account I created wasn't having the problem that I am having on my primary XPS account

I am encountering a very strange issue where Ctrl + Right arrow shortcut doesn't move my cursor one word to the right like Ctrl + Left arrow shortcut moves my cursor one word to the left. I've noticed this on my other computers aswell, and on my new laptop also. That being said, I think the issue with Ctrl + Right arrow not registering has to do something with default Windows settings or it is much deeper than that.

Just for further info, I use a croatian keyboard layout so that might be a factor.

Unfortunately, when I press Fn + Ctrl + Right Arrow it does the same thing as Fn + Right Arrow, meaning it takes my cursor at the end of the line, in other words it serves as an "End" key as my laptop keyboard does not have a dedicated "End" key. Moreover, this is already physically written on my Arrow keys on my keyboard, so in my case respectfully :

Fn + Right Arrow ==> End

Fn + Left Arrow ==> Home

Fn + Up Arrow ==> PageUp

Fn + Down Arrow ==> PageDown.

Besides that, I have tried adding a EN-US keyboard layout and using it still doesn't correct the behaviour of Ctrl + Right Arrow. Because of that I don't think it is a language/input method issue. It could be a much deeper settings issue or maybe a firmware issue? Or it could just be that any physical croatian keyboard just won't allow Ctrl + Right Arrow...

It seems I found the root issue of the problem by pure chance and have resolved the situation. Everything works now, so I don't require any further assistence, but thanks very much for the help!

The problem of my Ctrl + Right Arrow not working was caused by an app/software called Wallpaper Engine, which I was using on every one of my computers. I made a custom shortcut on that app with where I mapped Ctrl + Right Arrow to the action of switching wallpapers. This resulted in a system wide override of Ctrl + Right Arrow so it explains why I couldn't use it anywhere.
