    is win defender good enough


    in av test feb 2023 win defender of win 10 has taken 18 our of 18 points , it was the only one who took an award from av ... then why everybody says that it is not good enough ? if that so why it always picks the trophy ? what kind of security flaw is in it ? if it has lower protection than other famous anti viruses then why it is on no one in a.v. test ?is it not best as antivirus. anti hacking, anti malware etc ? plz inform in detail. obliged.

    Shutting Down Windows Defender for good.

    If Windows Defender and your Norton program are both "running" on your Win 10 computer suggest you uninstall/reinstall your Norton program.

    Be sure the version of your Norton program is current and is compatible with Win 10.

    Depending where and whom you ask, you will get different replies...is win defender good enough ;)

    Windows Defender in Windows 7 is NOT an Anti-Virus program but only a very basic spyware protection. Meaning you need to install an Anti-Virus program.

    A free one would be for example
    Microsoft Security Essentials     (MSE)

    Upon installation of MSE, Windows Defender will be automatically disabled.
