Windows 10: Is virus Pua:Win32/Puwaders.C!ml delete?

Hi, I have this problem. Windows defender did a scan but says that all is good. I am not very sure if the virus is deleted.

PUA not deleted or quarantined by Windows Defender

A PUA is not actually malware, it is an application on your PC that Defender deems to be possibly unsafe.

Please provide a screenshot of the history list in Defender showing the PUA's it has found on your PC.

 

Need help with Wacatac.H!ml virus

An app. (Discord) was downloaded by my grandson and it included 4 trojans. Defender identified the 4 but only isolated 3 as quarantined. Next start up reloaded these 3 viruses. I removed the offending app. And those viruses have not reappeared. But still had one virus Wacatac.H!ml to quarantine. In Windows Security the “Actions” did not isolate or remove it.

I deleted the Recycle and quarantine folders, used Defender Offline and MalwareBytes. The virus was not detected and therefore not automatically isolated. In Current Threats it is still listed as a “Severe Threat” and “Active”.

The date and time of identification has not changed over two days, suggesting the virus has not recreated itself(?) and been detected again.

Question – do I still have an active virus, if so how to remove it (I am not a computer techie it must be simple).?

If you consider there is no active virus how do I remove the Security notification and description?

This is what has been happening:

• svchost.exe errors are conig up every 2 seconds.
• Lost net connection
• sound has been permanently disabled
• Icons are faluty
• Spreds on USB's...autorun.ini is in my schools McAfee Quarantine? (From my USB)
