The UWP process group keeps suspending Armory Crate while I am trying to use it, which means I can't really change any of the settings controlled by Armory Crate such as how well my GPU works, and when I am trying to play some games they have very low FPS because the graphics card is not doing the best it can, and I know it can do better because it has done better in the past before the UWP process group began suspending Armory Crate. I am not completely sure how long the UWP process group has been suspending Armory Crate for, definitely a while but I have been trying to get along without it,

How to prevent Windows from overriding Asus Armory crate's power plan mode?

Welcome to Microsoft Community and hope you are doing well.

This seems to be a unique software product from ASUS so I have little knowledge about it. If you wanna prevent Windows from overriding Asus Armory Crate’s power plan mode, you can try the following:

Set the power plan to Balanced Mode instead of High Performance Mode in Windows Power Options. Maybe in this way, Windows wonnot interfere with the Asus Armory Crate’s ROG operating mode.

Try to energy-saving mode in the Armory Crate app settings instead of high-performance mode if you are playing games.

Open the Armoury Crate app and go to the Profile Settings tab > Select the ‘Windows’ option for both AC and DC modes. You need to create a scenario profile that has your games or applications linked to it and set the Armoury Crate mode to ‘Performance’ or ‘Turbo’ as per your preference.

Since this app is not from Microsoft I can't reproduce your problem so I recommend that you go to the ASUS official website or related forums to post your questions and seek further consultation.

UWP Suspending Processes

Why in Windows 11 in Task Manager am I getting the pause symbol and the message “This UWP process is suspending processes to improve system performance” next to 6 or 7 processes and apps all the time including apps I’m currently using.

 

Task manager shows green leaf UWP is suspending processes to improve performance - so how do you STOP this process from suspending your Outlook? I'm mid-typing an email and everything is locked.

This was asked previously, but rather unhelpfully, the Microsoft operative did not go the next step to say how to cancel/stop this process from suspending Outlook.

If it requires a reboot or the shutting of other RAM processes (like website tabs etc) then it would have helped to say so!

I welcome any suggestions on getting rid of the 'green leaf' so I can carry on with my work...
