    Still still not understanding your issue with this thumb drive. They only cost less then $10.00 on eBay with free shipping. Just trash yours and buy a new one. Watch out for the brand you by. It sound like this brand had this virus when you got it. No
    virus scan program is 100 percent.

    Thanks my friend for your time,

    now i'm sure it's broken.

    tried to format it with my "tv receiver" which has a basic and simple OS, but same thing happened again.

    Silicon Power is a good brand, i have a "external hard disk" of them and it's gold.

    my thinking is the virus did that to it. i got a new one using warranty. but still upset about i couldn't figure out whats wrong with it.

    thank you again, microsoft seems have some bigger problems to deal with.

    I'm very much appreciated your time.

    If you are able to complete all the steps above including updating drivers and same problem persist on a new computer, I suggest to seek assistance with your PC manufacturer to see what are your warranty options before it's too late. A new PC should NOT behave like.
