    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Computer Crash

Here is the link to the minidump file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cUyYUfN0j4-OZjRHIwf_5L2O5uN_vXxm/view?usp=sharingI have been having an issue where I am crashing with either a BSOD saying "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL", or the screen just turns black, makes a buzzing sound, and then restarts. I tested all my RAM sticks and even purchased new RAM, but the issue still persists. I have also ran Display Driver Uninstaller and Re-Install my GPU drivers. This issue mainly happens when I am playing a video games such as Valorant or Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.CPU: Intel Core i9-9900KSCP

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

  3. Irql_not_less_or_equal

So I have this clients PC that blue screens and gives a IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL STOP 0x0000000A error message. Error Goblin (link in sig) says the following:

And I have NO IDEA what the hell that means. It has wrapped around my head 5 times and caused it to explode. Ive ran memtest for 7 and a half hours and it didnt find any errors. I will probably run it again overnight just to be safe. Ive also cleaned out the computer with an air compressor and checked the hard drive for bad sectors are none are to be found.

Im trying like hell to avoid reinstalling Windows but it seems unlikely.

Im going to try updating some drivers and see what happens. Some of the drivers on this computer date back to 2007.

    Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks guys.

    EDIT:

Alright so it doesnt look like ill be able to get onto the internet to do anything because nearly every time i try, i get the BSOD. Format seems imminent.

    BSOD IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL crash

    Hi,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Community. I understand the inconvenience you are facing. I will certainly help you with this.

This issue can arise due to driver’s installation or driver’s compatibility issue. I suggest you to follow the below given steps and check if issue persist.

    Method 1:

I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices
troubleshooter and check if it helps.

    • Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • Select View all on the top left corner.
    • Click on Hardware and Devices.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
    • Check if issue persists.

    Method 2:

You may also update all the drivers from Device Manager manually and check if this helps.

    • Press (Windows key + X) and click on “Device Manager”.
    • Expand all drivers one by one.
    • Right click on the driver and select “Update Driver Software”. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
    Method 3:

If there no updated drivers available on the computer manufacturer’s website, then try installing it in compatibility mode. Compatibility mode runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows. Follow these steps
to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

    • Download the drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
    • Right-click on the driver setup file and click on
      ‘Properties’
      .
    • Click on the ‘Compatibility’ tab and check the box
‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 7/8/8.1 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

Hope this information helps. Post back with updated issue details for further help.

    Thank you.
