Windows 10: Intune - Attestation Error - Securing your hardware 0x80280009

We are getting an error during autopilot preparation. I am sure folks have seen this error - Securing your hardware 0x80280009. We're using Windows 11 Enterprise with the most updated BIOS and TMP version 2.49 on the HP site. The model is HP EliteOne 800 G4. Any thoughts? We understand it is a TPM chip but everything works under Windows 11. The issue is when we try to add it to Intune. -Esteban

TPM Attestation Failure

I have been trying to put some devices through the autopilot process, but keep getting an error of TPM Attestation Failed. Error: 0x80280009

How do I fix this please, the laptops are all Dell devices, it keeps happening every time, I remove device from Azure/Endpoint and reload it and it still keeps doing it, I have 12 devices with this issue, all Dells, but different models.

 

TPM Attestation Not Supported after CPU Upgrade

I recently upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 5600X to a Ryzen 5800X3D. Since upgrading in Windows Security it states Attestation Not supported. It states Storage is Ready. I have tried nearly everything to get it fixed to no avail;

• Cleared TPM in Windows
  
• Cleared TPM in BIOS
  
• Reset Secure Boot
  
• Ran the Attestation script from Rudy from Call4Cloud, which states the EKCert is missing - The Last TPM Attestation Script
  
• Updated to the latest beta channel build (22623.1245) as Rudy had said on Twitter that an AMD TPM Attestation bug was fixed in 22621.1192 but this didn't fix it for me either - Rudy's Tweet

Device Health Attestation does not increase security, it is away for a PC to report to a System Administrator about the security hardware on the PC.

Below is the documentation that Microsoft provide on Device Health Attestation, it is a process used by System Administrators through a management console to check that all their PC's meet their requirements, it is not a process used by home users.
