Windows 10: IntelMeProv redirecting me to Home Screen/ Home Page whenever trying to open folders, files...

Recently, while working on my pc, when I tried to access some files from File Explorer, by double clicking on the Documents Icon in side-panel of Home File Explorer Screen, it didn't open instead with a small blink, it redirected me back to the Home Screen. Further, when I tried to open some website on Edge, there also I was getting redirected back to the Home Page. The issue is intermittent.Consequently, I looked for the updates- both Windows and PC's Manufacturer Asus. Both displayed that my system is Up to-date, which implies my OS, BIOS as well as drivers, all are up to date. From the

Blue Screen when renaming file in an offline folder with redirection

Hi, I have a persistent issue of BSOD on Windows 10 when renaming a file in an offline folder. This appears to only occur on folders where I have folder redirection set up.

Windows 1903 (OS Build 18362.175) and fully up to date.

The blue screen reports an issue with RDBSS.sys.

No hardware or driver changes.

Any suggestions please?

Set minimum and maximum to a constant number as suggested by others, that will help reduce fragmentation on the drive coz of different page file sizing.

 

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
