Windows 10: Intel Wifi and Bluetooth driver keep corrupting.

I have windows 11 on my PC. And it keeps corrupting the wifi and Bluetooth drivers. Ethernet is my only option and is running very slow. Wifi driver is newest version but says: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. Code 43Bluetooth is newest version but says: This device cannot start. Code 10STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE

Intel Bluetooth Only Shows Up on 3168

I have an interesting issue with the Acer Aspire A515 laptop. I recently upgraded to a gigabit internet connection with a new dual band router. Of course my laptop having a little Intel 3168 WiFi card single band + bluetooth wasn't going to do it. So I go and grab myself my nice Intel 8265 WiFi card dual band + bluetooth and put it in. The WiFi works great no issues but no bluetooth. So I try my 7260, 7265, and 8260 cards. All having the same issue. I can establish an 866 link with the router but no bluetooth. Testing them in other machines shows the bluetooth so I am convinced that it is this particular laptop. I have also grabbed the latest Intel drivers, no change. Any suggestions welcome.

Testing Already Done:

• Booting up Linux (No bluetooth)
  
• Windows updates (No bluetooth)
  
• Reinstalling Windows 10 (The laptop has a 7th gen i7 so W7 / W8 is not an option) (Still no bluetooth)
  

 

Intel WiFi driver update 22.130.0 is showing as corrupted

I turned my computer on the other day to find that the WiFi wasn't working. The network and sharing centre was showing no Wifi options as if I didn't have a WiFi adapter at all. The adapter wasn't appearing in the list of adapters in "Network connections" either.



To investigate, I opened Device Manager and noticed there was a yellow warning triangle next to the Intel Wireless-AC 9260 adapter. Under device status in the adapter's properties it said that the driver could be corrupted and mentioned code 39. I've also seen code 3 mentioned here while trying to resolve things. The driver version said 22.130.0.



I was able to get the WiFi adapter working again by using the "Roll Back Driver" feature. This reverted the driver to version 21.10.2.2 and this has been working for now. I'd rather be running the latest drivers for security and so that I don't have to worry about further future system updates breaking things again.



Any ideas as to how I can get the latest drivers working?



Note: The wireless adapter is integrated into my Asus TUF X570 plus wifi motherboard.

 

Windows 10 corrupted bluetooth error 45 cannot be turned on

I understand that the Bluetooth device on the motherboard shows as Hidden Devices in Device Manager and you are unable to use the Bluetooth feature. We will certainly assist you with this issue.



Usually, we get the error Code 45 if the device is not connected or detected. However, we can try a few steps and check if we get the Bluetooth feature working.



For better clarity, please let us know:

• Are you aware of any changes after which you are facing the issue with Bluetooth devices?
  
• What is the BIOS firmware version (date) that is currently installed on the motherboard?

Meanwhile, let us try few steps:



Method 1: Update Chipset Driver and Bluetooth Driver.

I would suggest you to download and install the latest

Chipset Driver from Gigabyte website for your motherboard. Restart the computer.

Once the Chipset driver is installed, then download the
Intel Bluetooth Driver (Win10 ver.1909 supported)



If the issue persists,

Method 2: Run Intel Update Utility

Based on the motherboard specification, I see that the Bluetooth driver is of Intel.

I would suggest you to run the
Intel Driver and Support Assistant to check if there are any new updates for the device.



If issue persists, please check the BIOS version. Based on my research,

the latest BIOS released by Gigabyte if of 2019/12/09. However, I would suggest that you contact the motherboard manufacturer for running the BIOS updates.



Note: Modifying BIOS/ complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee
that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.
