  2. Adding widows 10 chipset drivers to an old computer.

    Hi Bob,

When upgrading a Windows 7-based computer to Windows 10, the computer should have a processor that is from any of the following generations:

    • Intel seventh (7th)-generation "Intel Core" processor or a later generation
    • AMD seventh (7th)-generation (“Bristol Ridge") processor or a later generation
    • Qualcomm “8996" processor or a later generation

Let us know if you need further information.

    Regards.

Well, I suppose I will have to put off buying a new system until Christmas or after the first of the year. I have one I am looking at so I will wait to see if it gets upgraded to the new processors.

Currently I have no 4K devices but DirecTV does have what they call 4K media available. Maybe even one of their boxes will be updated next year.
