Windows 10: Integrated camera device is not working how to resolve the same

Integrated camera and the camera drivers show that all the drivers are up to date.But the event shows the below error and the camera app is not working,This device is currently waiting on another device or set of devices to start. Code 51 Dependencies: ACPI\INT3472\1 ACPI\LATT2021\6&153ad409&0 ACPI\INTC1097\1 I tried all troubleshooting steps and the driver updates. None of them is resolving the issue.

My internal camera is no longer working on my ASUS F550 with Windows 10 64 bit

In my device manager in the imaging tab the integrated camera is not listed; only my MX920 canon printer is listed

Does that mean a driver is missing or a card is missing.

I suggest you to try the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1:

I suggest you to runthe Hardware and Devices
troubleshooter and check if it helps.

• Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• ClickonHardware and Devices.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
• Check if issue persists.

Method 2:

I suggest you to install/update the drivers for integrated webcam from the device manager. Kindly refer the below given link to do so:

If issue persist, I suggest you to try installing it in compatibility mode. Compatibility mode runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows. Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode
and check if that helps.

• Download the Integrated webcam drivers from the manufacturer’s website.

• Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘Properties’.
• Click on the ‘Compatibility’ tab and check the box
  ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8/8.1 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

Dell Latitude 5421 - Integrated Camera not Working

Hi,

This one is driving me nuts.

End user has a Dell Latitude 5421 integrated camera that is not working at all.

A Dell tech visited to replace the camera, but said it had the same issue, so thinks it's either a driver or an issue with the motherboard.

Before I have another technician visit to swap out hardware (user is already frustrated), I want to know if there is a driver or something obvious missing.. here is what I've tried:

• Updated BIOS to 1.12.0
  
• Updated Intel Serial IO Driver (Chipset) to 30.100.2104.1, A01
  

Checked device manager - Integrated Camera is not even in the list of available devices, however, I compared to my machine and could confirm that the users device, while it didn't have a camera, had these driver files available (these seems to be sitting under C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers)

• SecureUSBVideo.dll
  
• usbvideo.sys
  
• WdmCompanionFilter.sys
  

There are no settings inside of Camera that are turned off, all seem to be turned on, despite having no actual working camera....

Current OS is 19042.1766 20H2.
