After checking and installing all updates for windows and windows terminal, I still get the same message every time I open itl. How do I delete this on my Json file? I tried adding the -NoLogo.exe to the command line and still didn't work.

PowerShell 7.3.6 assistance request

Thank you for the input. When I first turn on the computer, a desktop with a window opens. It's identified as "Windows PowerShell." Plus, it says to "Install the latest PowerShell for new features and improvements! https://aka.ms/PSWindows." Then a command prompt PS C:\Users\hjgib. I added pwsh.exe and the reply is "PowerShell 7.3.6. down one line I see, "PS C:\Users\hjgib> Thank you for your time. Any input is appreciated.

I wouldnt' think so.

You have a malware task running that may well be the cause of this.

• Run Autoruns as administrator
  
• In the Quick Filter enter: apple di
  
• Righ click on the task \Apple Diagnostics and delete
  
• Restart your computer.
  

After the reboot, delete C:\Users\15035\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\eReporter-AppX.exe

As you get a Powershell window opening at system start sayng "Install the latest PowerShell for new features and improvements!" it would appear that Windows Powershell 5.1 is installed.

You can find its binaries at: C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0

 

PowerShell 7.3.6 assistance request

Hello- I am just learning to work with PowerShell. I believe I have updated my computer to 7.3.6. Unfortunately, the computer keeps bringing up the Windows PowerShell & says, "Install the latest PowerShell for new features and improvements! https://aka.ms/PSWindows." Just after that, the command prompt shows as PS C:\\Users hjgib. At this point, I can honestly say I do not know what to do next to ensure it has been updated correctly. I primarily use Microsoft, so I got the update from the Microsoft store. Any input or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.
