Windows 10: Incompatible drivers Patin-Couffin pcouffin.sys

I was checking out Window's Security settings recently and I saw a security feature that once had been ON the last time I checked and is now turned OFF. try imgburn(google it) also try installing the Patin Couffin Access Layer and set imgburn to use that.

Patin Couffin is what i normaly use because it avoids the problems of the windows built in SPID(orwhatever its called) as well as the need to find a 64bit ASPI driver.

all VSO software comes with Patin Couffin such as converxtodvd or blindwrite *Smile

both imgburn and Patin Couffin are freely avalable, hope this helps *Smile

 

Windows 10 - Memory Integrity - Incompatible Drivers

Good day all,

Please could someone advise how I might identify and safely remove/disable/update the following incompatible drivers, so that memory integrity can be re-enabled.

The incompatible drivers are as follows;
- ftdibus.sys
- wdcsam64_prewin8.sys
- PxHIpa64.sys
- SaiH0C2D.sys
- tib.sys

Autoruns lists nearly all of these files however I have not used this utility before, so thought it's best I ask first.

Any and all suggestions are very much appreciated!

Device properties

It's Patin Couffin, a low level device driver for CD/DVD copying software like DVDFab, 1ClickDVDCopy, etc. (like Daemon Tools, it use SPTD).
If you don't use any of those you can safely un-install it.
