    WDAGUtilityAccount

WDAGUtilityAccount and DefaultAccount are not replacing your user account, they are in addition to any other user accounts. They are necessary for the system to operate normally. DefaultAccount is a template for creating new user accounts and WDAGUtilityAccount is stated by the system to be "A user account managed and used by the system for Windows Defender Application Guard scenarios."

Neither account is active, nor should they be made so. Both accounts are managed by the system and should be left alone.

There are other system accounts besides these two. Open a command prompt and type NET USERS

The names will include: Administrator, DefaultAccount, Guest and WDAGUtilityAccount. A Pro system running Hyper-V will also include RDV GRAPHICS SERVICE. Any other names will be your normal user account or accounts.

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We understand your concern regarding the WDAGUtilityAccount and we will certainly help you with the information.

WDAGUtilityAccount is part of Application Guard beginning with Windows 10 version 1709 (Fall Creators Update). This account remains disabled until Application Guard is enabled on your device. This item is integrated to the OS and is not
    considered as a threat/virus/malware.

There are multiple system accounts that are built-in to Windows and WDAGUtilityAccount is one of them.

Based on the screenshot that you have provided, when you run net user command, it displays all the accounts in the system, including the default account, administrator and guest and your user accounts. However, this is displayed in alphabetical order
    and in columns of three.

In the below screenshot, I have created the 5 test accounts and this is displayed on top as per the alphabetical order.

If you type netplwiz command in Windows Search, you will see the User Accounts window which shows all the user accounts that you have created and can login to.

If you need full information on the user accounts on your system, you can run the following command in the command prompt.

    wmic useraccount list full

    We await your response.

    WDAGUtilityAccount

I'm really wondering about this WDAGUtilityAccount, I've had 2 administrators on my Laptop and I deleted

the main one. The other one was already an admin and it had my files organised very well so I didn't want

to delete it. After deleting my main account along with files, I noticed the word WDAGUtilityAccount pop-up

on my CMD next to my account's name and I just don't like it xD. My windows defender and firewall are working.

So if it's anything that I don't want on my pc, please tell me how can I make my account = a main account, and just

    removed that WDAGUtility account.
