Windows 10: I'm missing the "FaceDriver" folder in C:\Windows\System32\WinBioPlugIns and I don't know...

Team Microsoft,Although I have an Integrated WebCam with my laptop having up-to-date version of Windows 11, I am not able to use my sign in option of Windows Hello Face from it. I tried to reinstall its optional feature of Hello Face but it doesn't work at all.Waiting for your positive reply towards my problem.Yours trulyDELL.USER

Please try this:

Right click Start>Terminal with admin & enter these one at a time:

cd C:\Windows\System32\WinBioPlugIns\FaceDriver directory

pnputil.exe /add-driver .\HelloFace.inf /install

I have tried what you have suggested but it hasn't yet worked.

From what I can tell all my drivers are up to date and the camera works in any app that needs it and I have tested this over multiple apps.
I decided to go to recovery in settings and reinstall windows and save my files, after this the biometrics tab is back in device manager and I was able to install Facial recognition drivers in optional features unlike before. However the option to set up facial recognition is still unavailable and the faceDriver folder is still absent from C:\Windows\System32\WinBioPlugIns.

Both the regular camera and IR camera show in device manager and since I reinstalled windows through recovery in setting Hello Face was able to be installed without error which there was prior.

I also have tmp.msc enabled and was able to run these command in windows terminal admin (SFC /SCANNOW, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth)

However when I went to run the second set of commands you suggested this is what came up,

Due to no drivers being installed I assume there was an error when it came to running this prompt
