    Before someone tries to guide me into Sound Settings, I've had 5 PCs with Windows 10, and this PC DOESN'T have it.

    Is there a way to get a 3rd party equalizer that actually works? Please don't recommend EarTrumpet because that doesn't equalize sounds.

    audio windows 10--can't adjust bass/treble sound

    I can't adjust or find a way to adjust the treble/bass control on my PC since my grandson used my older pc windows 10 system to connect to his smartphone for audio streaming. all devices and drivers and updates seem to be fine and all troubleshooting apps
    i've used find no problem. However, the sound is 90% bass and little treble and it's very difficult to distinguish speaking voices. I can find no "older time" bass/treble mixer adjustment control anywhere on my system.

    Yeah... I don't see it in the manual either.

    You could always use the Windows 10 Sound controls... Just right click the speakers and choose: Properties...
    It's under Settings > System...

    In the lower section of the speaker properties page, you can scroll down for more specific balances.
