Windows 10: if i factory reset my school laptop while im in school will it tell the it guy i reset it?

Okay so a bit of back story: I used to go to this one school where they wanted us to bring our own laptops from home so that they can put their system on it. I gave them my Dell Windows laptop and they reset it to be a school laptop. It has blocked websites, admin passwords that I don't know, random school apps, etc. I've graduated and I still have the laptop but they didn't remove their system from my laptop. I tried doing the normal factory reset where you hold down the shift key then restart and then troubleshoot then factory reset....etc. but that didn't remove the school system from my laptop. it's still there. How can I factory reset it all the way to make the school system get off of my laptop and make it my personal laptop?

I know you've gotta clear the drive and reinstall the O/S but I don't know how to do that without an admin password. I don't know the admin password.

Because the reset option is not working to remove the school from that laptop, a clean install will be the only option.

When factory reset is done, there's no way to undo it. If this is a school computer, your friend needs to get in touch with school IT support right away to get Windows installed and all of the school required software installed. No one here knows what his school requirements go as far as license, user, software.
