Windows 10: I need to change the Authenticator sync email?

My Authenticator is syncing with an email that has been closed for two years, I need to change it to a current email and no one can seem to help me

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the Mailbox sync settings.

  Open the Mail app and sign in to your account.
  
• 
  Click on the gear icon (Settings) from the bottom left corner.
  
• 
  Click on the Accounts under
  Settings.
  
• 
  Click on your account.
  
• 
  Click on the Change mailbox sync settings and check in the
  Sync options.

  Click on Settings at the left bottom corner.
  
• 
  Select manage Accounts at the top right corner.
  
• 
  Select and click on Account.
  
• 
  Select Change Mailbox Sync settings
  
• 
  Under Sync Option.
  
• 
  Turn On Email and close the app and check if it helps.
