I have a windows10/86-bit system and had to transfer files after deleting a couple of unneeded Microsoft accounts. I have iTunes and Apple Music and use MS One Drive, iCloud drive and Google drive as storage and backup. I lost files when I turned off sync and unlinked OneDrive and iCloud from the PC to move folders. Now I am trying to build the proper folder structure and am a bit lost honestly. I need specific details on how to arrange my folders now. I am pretty sure I start by beginning at C:/Users/myusername New Local/ then what goes next? OneDrive or Google drive or iCloud? And then he

Groove Music File Structure Question


Hi,

I wanted to start using Groove Music but had a question. I have a huge mp3 collection and am very specific about my labeling, file structure and id3 tags and don't like it when apps change them. If I was to use Groove music and add my local music folder to watch, would it change any of those? Would it move files in its own folder system or change or add information to id3 tags?

For example I use id3v2 only and make sure id3v1 is deleted, would it automatically copy the info over to the version 1 tag?

Also would it change my album covers because I know there is an option for that to fill in album covers if they are incorrect or not present.

Any help would be appreciated and I thank you in advance.

Obviously no one knows the answer to your question.

We don't work for Microsoft; we are mainly volunteers here.

And as it is a question about Adobe Flash Player and Facebook, why don't you ask either Adobe or Facebook.

 

Apple music and her problem with windows

I found a similar issue on the internet and they suggested terminating and repairing Apple Music through the App Settings might work. Go to the Settings > Apps. Find Apple Music in the list of installed apps. Click on Apple Music to select it. Click the Advanced Options link. Under the App termination section, click the Terminate button then scroll down to the Repair section. Click the Repair button. Follow any prompts or instructions that appear.

They also suggested opening Apple Music through the Microsoft Store works for them rather than the shortcut one that fails.
