Windows 10: I just upgraded to win 10 from win 7 now my puter goes to black screen and cant use mouse...

Win 7 to Win 10 Black Screen...

OK, here's my Win 10 upgrade from Win 7 issue...

HP xw6600 2 x Xenon quads, 16 GB, NVidia GeForce 210 PCIe, nothing else attached;

New upgrade of Win 10 FROM WIN 7 boots to black screen with cursor available. No desktop, no task bar, just cursor on black;

Boot sequence starts with all expected Win 10 boot graphics, then goes straight to black;

No Password, only one Admin User, no user to switch to;

Upgraded to Win 10 from DVD media from a perfectly working Win 7 Pro system. Was running DVI to HDMI, switched

to straight HDMI to trouble shoot black screen, no difference, not yet gone to VGA but Win 7 was happy;

--Can CTL-ALT-DEL to Task Manager, from there (right click menu) go anywhere, including Control Panel, run any

application or utility but still no desktop. These apps show as white windows on a solid black background. When

minimized they MAY disappear. Limited other key combos work, but NOT, for example, Win + E or Win + R;

--Desktop and desktop icons show up as expected in Explorer tree (accessed through TM), as does entire system;

--Internet connection is good, can navigate to and run browser;

--Audio is good, setup talks to me;

--Explorer.exe not running in TM, attempts to Run New do not bring it up;

--Can navigate to C:\Windows through TM, find and execute Explorer.exe which now shows up as running in TM;

--This makes no difference on screen, still no desktop or task bar;

--Do not know if Explorer.exe is corrupt. Seems to execute properly into TM;

--SFC inconclusive or negative;

--HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon shows Explorer.exe as only shell, confirmed OK by MS tech;

--Have uninstalled and rebooted NVIDIA drivers. System says drivers OK, no updates available;

--Safe Mode also boots to black screen;

--Logging Out or Switching User brings up a very promising Win 10 wall paper graphic, but Sign In returns to black screen;

--Oddly, previous Win 7 desktop has flashed by once or twice, always disappears;

--MS Level One tech was unable to sort this one out, wanted to elevate the call.

Bottom line, I have a somewhat functioning system with no desktop or task bar. And I am out of bullets. Any thoughts?

I think in one of the other PC with win 7 or win 8.1 I run media creators tools and in some step prompt/found graphics card not supported... for win 10. I didn't found alone reading specs of win 10, but the tool says me... after changed graphics card the tool said all OK and continued OK with upgrade... That I ask to reach this step in this current PC - win 7 - must be all OK for the upgrade? Or must continue to upgrade to show this?
