  1. I have Windows 11 Pro "Print Screen" key saving to two locations - how can I set it to save...

I have Windows 11 Pro and I use a Logitech K850 keyboard. When I use the "Print Screen" key the image is saved to two locations: 1. Pictures>Screenshots and 2. Desktop. How can I stop it from saving the images to the Desktop and to only save to the Screenshots folder?

  2. Win key + Print Screen SystRq not always working to take and save screenshots.

    Hello Benoy,

To better assist you with your concern, I'd like to know the following:

    • When you press Windows key + Print Scrn SysRq, does your computer's screen somehow dim for a moment? Also, after pressing Windows key + Print Scrn SysRq and press Ctrl + V in Paint, does the screenshot appears?
    • Confirm which build is currently installed on your device. To check, follow the steps below:
    1. Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
    2. Click OK.
    • What is the make and model of your device?

To save your screenshot as a file, it would depend on the key combination that will trigger to capture a screenshot and automatically save it to the Screenshots folder. Here are some examples of print screen key combination depending on the manufacturer
of the device (Windows logo key + Ctrl + PrintScrn, or Windows logo key + Fn + PrintScrn)

    Looking forward to your response.

    Regards.

  3. Print screen settings

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are looking for some changes in the print screen settings so that the pictures go to the OneDrive instead of DropBox. I will try to help you with this issue.

When you press the Print Screen key...the screenshot is copied to your Windows Clipboard. Each successive capture replaces the last. If you wish to save these screenshots they must be pasted into a program that can save them Windows Paint for
    example.

Suggest you to save the print screen images directly in the OneDrive folder located in File Explorer to check if that helps.

Further, in the OneDrive settings window, flip to the “Auto save” tab and check the box to enable “automatically save screenshots I capture to OneDrive”. Click ok to save the setting.

Keep us informed to help you further.
