Windows 10: I have uninstalled my webcam driver for TOSHIBA PORTEGE R830

I have uninstalled my webcam driver forTOSHIBA PORTEGE R830 series and can't find t anywhere neither on the official website and my pc wouldn't reinstall it automatically

Uh, wrong answer. Everything that U suggested as a "fix" simply does not work. In my case web cam worked in Win 7 Ultimate. Win 10 killed it. Device manager, Win 10 says driver not present. Toshiba "support" pages are a joke. Drivers simple do not
exist for the R830 model web cam. The Win 8.1 drivers is no good and the Win 7 doesn't work either. Problem is that Toshiba used many different manufactures for their web cams, DVD drives, as well as other components but simply will not admit to it. It's
a crapshoot to find a driver that may work but after 2 days of looking I gave up and went back to Win 7 the new Win XP that hopefully will last for Years. On a Toshiba web page I found an extensive listing of Win 10 upgradeable notebooks and the R830 is NOT
listed therefore not an upgrade able device. Yea, it will run Windows 10 but some devices simply will not work correctly. Their R930 Portege model is listed. Guess they want to generate new notebook sales. I for one have decided to go the Mac route. Simple,
upgradeable with no problems and dependable. Simply put I'm not knocking Microsoft, I'm knocking cheap Windows based hardware that always gives MS a bad name.

Have you tried reinstalling the Web Camera Software from Toshiba? There are several variants of the Portege R830, but I believe this should work for all versions of the R830. If you follow the link below and click "Camera" you can download the Toshiba Web
Camera application which I believe should install the driver.

If you have trouble running the installer, you might have to run in compatibility mode for Windows 7 in order to install this. Follow these steps to run in compatibility mode.

1. In file explorer, browse to where you downloaded the executable, it should be named TC30499000A.exe.

2. Right Click file>select Properties

3. Click on "Compatibility" tab

4. Click on box "Run this program in compatibility mode for" > Windows 7

5. Close properties window and double click to run the installer.
