Windows 10: I have turned on my computer and logged into windows and all my files and applications are...

When I logged onto my PC I was completely shocked to see that every file was gone in all my folders. Though interestingly all my files could still be found if I go digging on my Hardrive and SSD, Why have they been removed from the main file explorer? Here's just an example of one of the folders. This is my Hardrive where I can find all those lost files if I go digging around. I'm just wondering why everything has been shuffled around after just a simple shut down? Could my hardrive be corrupted/damaged? Another issue that has arisen when I started my PC is up is that I have been completely lo

Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

Download CCcleaner from here...........

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

For initial troubleshooting steps, we suggest that you try the steps provided below:

• Right click Start Button or press Windows key + X and select Settings.
• In the Settings app, navigate to Accounts > Sign-in options.
• On the Sign-in options screen, scroll down and under
  Privacy section, turn Off the Use my sign in info to automatically finish setting up my device after an update or restart option.
• Close Settings app and restart the machine, check if the issue is resolved.

Computer Randomly Turns on From Sleep

I would check the logs and see what's going on during the in question time frames. Check both windows logs and application log folders in computer management's event viewer.
