Windows 10: I have this problem where icons never appear

so this problem suddenly happend to me like months ago and i still havent found a solutin for it. icons never appear, not in the desktop, files, or even taskbar. i tried asking reddit but they downvoted me so i stopped asking.heres an example:

• Are you trying to hide icon in the task bar.

If yes I suggest you to follow the below steps.

• Type in search bar “Turn system icons On or Off”.
• Select the option “Turn system icons On or Off”.
• Turn off the icons which you want to hide.

one drive icons not appearing on Notification area

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I suggest you to check if Notification setting for One Drive Is turned on. Follow the steps below.

• Click on Start button and Select Settings.
• Select System and Click on Notification and Actions.
• Click on Select which icon to appear on taskbar.
• Turn on the notification for One Drive.
