    I have the "We can't Open this ms-gamingoverlay' link" whenever I start up a game.


    When I start a game, it says this but my game still starts. I just bought this PC pre-built and have had a bunch of of problems with it so far. I'm not satisfied but that's besides the point.I did a bit of digging on this issue and eventually ran into a few problems. 1. My Xbox Game Bar app thing says "Enable Xbox Game Bar" and when I click Open, it takes me directly to the settings menu. It says "Open Xbox Game Bar using this button on a controller. It's selected as "ON", but when I click the button on my xbox controller, nothing happens.2. I don't have the Microsoft store even installed on m

    I was able to download and extract the files. I did run them as Administrator, but did not see the start up item. It really only occurs when I load a game that uses the ms-gamingoverlay.

    https://download.sysinternals.com/files/Autorun...

    When the file downloads, unzip it.

    Depending on your system, run Autoruns or Autoruns64 as Administrator

    In the search box in Autoruns, type gaming

    Does that find the startup entry for ms-gamingoverlay

    If it does, right click and delete the entry found
