Discus and support i have problem ? i found folder size 172Gb in AppData\Local\Packages in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; HiI have problem?     Hi Tril645

    The appdata/local/packages does not contain any personal information, it stores data like the settings you change in Windows UWP Apps and things like Window location and size, there is however absolutely no personal information in that folder . ..

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    I understand that the Packages folder is taking more space on Windows 10. I will certainly help you.

    In order to assist you better, please reply to the following questions.

    1. Did you install any Windows apps prior to this issue?

    2. Did you make any changes to the system prior to this issue?

    The Packages folder contains the files of the Windows apps installed on that User profile.

    I suggest you to navigate to C:/Users/Admin/Appdata/Local/Packages folder and sort the files by
    size (Right click on the Packages windows and select
    Sort by > Size). Determine which files of the apps is taking more space.

    Please post back with above information and we will be glad to assist you further.

    i have problem ? i found folder size 172Gb in AppData\Local\Packages

    Windows 10 local appdata packages dir is at 179GB can I reduce it?

    My system disk (C) has 285GB of data and 180GB are in the user\local\appdata\packages folder. Is it possible to delete or uninstall any of that?

    Disk cleanup didn't help.

    Using settings system storage and remove temorary files only removed 20GB from other folders in appdata local.
