Windows 10: I have been facing this F12 key issue

F12 is trigging it self on its own , so my laptop start taking ss or opens the developer window on chrome or open the save menu while I'm working on Excel or word it been annoying I have tried reaching out coustomer service centre but no good please look in the matter I have referred this https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/f12-key-issue/79eee48e-3efc-4ee5-b49e-e7359f037814 But no use

2. Press the Fn key and the Fn Lock key simultaneously.
   

This should toggle the functionality so you can use F1-F12 directly without pressing Fn.

Method 2: Change settings in BIOS

F12 Key Issue

I noticed the issue first when I was using the Google Chrome browser. Thinking it could be only temporary and was brought by a recent W10 update, I just shrugged it off. But later on, I observed issues on other applications as well.

Basically, the problem boils down to the F12 key. Whenever I browse on Chrome, the developer tool panel keeps on intermittently popping in and out and becomes a problem because it interrupts my browsing. Another similar thing happens when I use MS Excel - the
Save As dialog box intermittently pops up that I am unable to use the application at all. Also, everytime I play on Steam, it takes screenshots intermittently without me pressing the F12 key. I thought I already fixed the problem with Steam by disabling the
F12 hotkey for screenshot, but it's still happening.

If you haven't noticed by now, all those mentioned functions are assigned to F12 key. Other than knowing it has something to do with the mentioned key, I don't know anything I can do to fix this problem. Could it have something to do with sticky keys? What
should I do? Is there one thing I can do to fix all the problems at the same time?

Disable F12 Developer Tools

F12 Developer tools has made my internet browser (all) unusable. Entering data is one key at a time interspersed with closing the DT. I have the Home Edition of Windows 10 and have all the updates, tried opening IE, going to gears and F12 DT is listed
but there is no way to UNCHECK it as was suggested in an earlier blog. Please tell me how to get rid of the F12 Developer tools or at least disable. I am writing this on my MAC because the F12 DT kept popping up when I tried to input this on my Windows 10
desktop. HELP
