    Intel Core I7-7700 running at 3.6 GHz is not compatible with win 11?

    PC health checker says my pc is not compatible with 11. Intel Core I7-7700 running at 3.6 GHz is not compatible, but some atom and celerons are hmmm

    I am currently running Windows 10 Pro (Version 21H1) on my Alienware Aurora R6 Desktop PC. When I run the compatibility test, the PC meets all the requirements, except the processor (Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz[Cores 4] [Logical processors 8]). The test indicates this process doesn't meet the requirements, yet this processor is listed on the approved list.

    Will Windows 11 support this processor in the near future? Why are older/lower performing processors supported?
