Windows 10: I have an HP laptop and an old Acer laptop, I want to transfer info and can't find out how....

I have windows 7 and wish to transfer or get access to windows 7. I am unable to access the windows 7. It comes up but wants a password and I do not have any of the original Microsoft passwords, isn't there a way I can look at the info on the old computer. I actually can get my info by just looking at it. But I can't open windows without a correct password. I have all the old ones, but they haven't worked.

Acer Laptops :are they crap ?

Acer makes a cheap prodcut period. They user lower end plastics, as well as assembly. (I hate working on Acer laptops)

If budget is an issue then get an acer... though for $50 more you could get a gateway that will smoke the acer in terms of quality.

For a laptop though i would suggest one of the DV7T's from HP or a Business class Toshiba/HP/IBM (not the lenovo branded, the Thinkpads)

Does RBE work on Acer laptops?

I'd like to buy a Acer Travelmate 5740 with a ati 5650 mobile graphic card.
Does anybody knows if the bios of the vga can be modified with RBE?
Last laptop I had, an HP, didn;t allow extraction of the bios of the vga.
