Moving Software Mirrored Drives To New PC

I have 2 drives that were using windows mirroring (Under Disk Management) in my old PC.

I've moved them to my new PC, but made a mistake.
I'm only running Windows 10 Home instead of Pro.
So when I imported foreign disks they came in as 2 separate disks instead of 1.

I've ordered Windows 10 Pro and plan on upgrading, but am unsure if I can re-import the disks so they appear as 1 since I already imported them.

Any suggestions?

Worse case I can probably reformat one of the drives, but I'm not sure if I can start a new mirror with a drive that already has data (and I really don't want to lose the data).

 

Mirroring Volume Error - No extents were found for the plex?? RAID 1

I am lost on this error. There doesn't seem to be any good answers so far in my search. I'm hoping there's a mirroring whiz on here!

Situation:

• Have 512GB SSD with 2 partitions (Disk 0) running Windows 10 Pro
  
  • 1: System Reserve partition at 100MB
    
  • 2: OS (C partition at 475GB
    
  • x: Extra space unallocated
    
• Installed a second 512GB SSD (Disk 1)
  
• Wanted: Mirror Disk 0 to Disk 1 in the event drive failure, be bootable
  

Actions Taken:

• Converted Disk 0 to Dynamic successfully
  
• Initialized Disk 1 successfully as Dynamic as well
  
• Right-clicked on Partition 1 (System Reserve) on Disk 0 and selected "Mirror volume"
  
• Selected Disk 1 as my mirror disk and hit OK
  

Error:

• When I hit OK, instead of mirroring Partition 1 from Disk 0 to Disk 1, I get...
  
  • "No extents were found for the plex."
    
  • I googled it but there is no relevant information
    

Does anyone have any idea how to get passed this error? I've done this in the past but I'm stuck here. Any help is appreciated!!

2 Mirrored Raid drives to one SSD drive

Just clone the logical drive (it appears as one drive) to the SSD. If you're going to keep the 2 Mirrored Raid drives as they are after a cleanup you don't have do do nothing else. The cloned SSD is set to work under RAID controller and driver and it will boot. If you're going to take the drives out you may consider to set the SATA as AHCI instead of RAID and you have to, under windows and before changing from RAID to AHCI, do a little change on register. What are you going to do with the 2 Mirrored Raid drives? If you haven't bought the SSD you may consider to buy a little SSD (128 or 256G) for Windows and programs and use the 2 Mirrored Raid drives for data only. That is basically the configuration I have on my laptop and desktop so I can guide you on doing the same.
