Windows 10: I have 2 microsoft accounts with the same email and want to remove one.

When I finished building my pc I installed windows but didnt have the internet connected yet, so it asked me to make an account. I made an account so I could get into windows and finish the setup thinking that I could just delete the account after i sign in with my regular account when I connect the internet. I connect the internet and sign in but all that does is add my regular account and give the other account my email. I have tried to going through the account settings but to no avail so I tried to change the email of the other account by making a burner email and all that did was asign that burner email to my main account and for some reason making a copy of my main microsoft account. So now theres 3 accounts and I want to only have one. Keep in mind each account has the same name and email.

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Change Microsoft Account Details in Administrator Account

It's quite easy in fact, simply switch the account in question first to a local account, then switch back to a Microsoft account, this time using your wife's MS account credentials.

Notice that before doing this you need to remove the new additional MS account on the PC, the one you created with her credentials. Windows allows only one user account for each email address, if the new account exists you cannot switch the original administrator account to an MS account using the same email address. Unauthorized Emails from my account?

It is more than likely that your email account was hacked, either by a virus sniffing your password, or just simply hacked.

Either way, change your password on your email account. Unfortunately the damage by already be done. They already have your contact list and your email address associated with that contact list. There is nothing stopping them from sending out emails using their own SMTP servers to everyone on your contact list and claiming the emails are from your email address. They don't actually have to have access to your yahoo account or even any yahoo server to send emails to people that come from your address.
