I have a laptop recently installed with Windows 10. By default the touch features are enabled but i do not find the way to disable it.

I tried searching in Device Manager settings as explained in Microsoft community articles. But I could not find the HID-compliant touch screen option to disable.

Also what is a difference between Touch Support with 2 touch points and No Pen or Touch Input available for this display. One of my Laptop shows the "No
Pen or Touch Input available for this display" setting for Pen and Touch settings.

Please suggest the way to identify and disable the touch screen feature entirely.

ASUS Zenbook UX461FA touch screen and pen not working.

My touch screen and pen suddenly stopped working on ASUS Zenbook UX461FA. I tried going to Device Manager under Human Interface Devices and the HID-compliant touchscreen driver was not listed. So I selected show hidden devices and the HID-compliant touchscreen driver along with several other drivers was greyed out. Then I uninstalled the HID-compliant touchscreen driver and restarted the laptop there was no change. I also went into Device Manager /Action/Scan for Hardware Changes and that did not re-install the HID-compliant touchscreen driver. I also went to Settings/System/About and it says “there is no pen or touch input available for this display” even though the pen and touch screen have been working for the past four year. Could you please tell me how I can get my touch screen and pen working again? Thank you.

Try to run Hardware Troubleshooter. It checks for common issues and makes sure that any new device or hardware attached to your computer was installed correctly.

  Type “Troubleshooting” without quotes and click on
  Troubleshooting.

  In the new window, click View all on the left pane.

  In the list of options, click on Hardware and devices.
  
• 
  Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions.
  

I suggest you to download and install all the available Windows Updates. Try and update the touch screen drivers and check for the resolution.

  Press Windows key and X on your desktop and click on
  Device Manager.

  Expand Human Interface Devices.
  
• 
  Locate the Touch screen driver.
  
• 
  Right-click on the driver icon and click on
  Update Driver Software.
  
• 
  Click on Search automatically for the updated driver software.
  
• 
  Follow the onscreen instructions to update the touchpad driver.
