    Error [262] Update Error

    I've been getting this error message when trying to update my ROM.



    ERROR [262] : UPDATE ERROR

    The ROM Update Utility has encountered communication errors during the update process. The program will guide you step-by-step to recover from the errors and continue with the update.

    I've followed the step-by-step instructions,and I continue to encounter this problem. Anyone have any ideas?

    List the EXACT "blah, blah" you mention, here please... for ALL installation cases!

    (Sound like a possible "DLL-Hell" issue, but "Windows File Protection" &/or "System File Protection" should have countered for this... no biggie, there's ways around that too!)

    Fatal Error

    I've been trying to format my system but right after it finishes formatting I get a Fatal Error during the Windows installation process. That Fatal Error is a Data Error (cyclic redundancy check). I know that it's because of my hard drives, but how do I fix this issue? I have 2 Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB SATA II Hard Drives in RAID 0. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. *Smile I got error in updating Conexant - MEDIA 8.65.262.0.
