Windows 10: I get fatal error opening Microsoft Flight Sim 2024, maybe an issue with computer?

I have just installed MSFS2024 on Steam and I am having some problems with DirectX. About 30s after launching the game, two pop-ups appear. First one says "Impossible to create DirectX12 device. Error 0x887a0004DXGI_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED". The second one says something about hardware and compabilities with the App and D3D12Renderer_Z.From what I read it’s an issue with needing DirectX12_1 I think it’s called. I have an AMD Radeon RX 570, which is minimum specs for graphics for the game according to devs and many sources. I’m confused though because it’s obviously not running people say it o

Microsoft Flight Simulator issue after Windows 10 Upgrade

I suggest you to completely uninstall Microsoft Flight Simulator and check.

Refer the steps below to uninstall.

• Press “Windows key + X”, select Control panel.
• Open programs and features.
• In the list of installed programs, select Microsoft Flight Simulator, and then click
  Remove.

Note: If you have earlier versions of Flight Simulator in the list of installed programs, you will have to remove them in addition to Flight Simulator.



Reinstall the Flight Simulator.

CANNOT LAUNCH FLIGHT SIM X

I understand that the Flight Sim X is not running after the first startup closed. We will help you.

• What is the make and model of your PC?

I suggest you to update graphics drivers
and check if the same issue persists.

• Press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager.
• Search for Display Adapters and expand it.
• Right click on the graphics driver
  and select Update driver software.
• Restart the System and check opening the application again.

If the above steps do not work, then I suggest you to contact the manufacturer of the game. They would assist you better with the issue.

Fatal Error

I've been trying to format my system but right after it finishes formatting I get a Fatal Error during the Windows installation process. That Fatal Error is a Data Error (cyclic redundancy check). I know that it's because of my hard drives, but how do I fix this issue? I have 2 Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB SATA II Hard Drives in RAID 0. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. *Smile
