Windows 10: I dont't know why ImmSetOpenStatus not work in the lastest IME on Windows 11?

I use ImmSetOpenStatus to open/close Input Method Editor IME. ImmSetOpenStatus work correctly in previous version of IME in Windows 10. However, ImmSetOpenStatus does not work in the lastest IME on Windows 11. May you tell the reason? no audio in google chrome

hi,

im new to this forum so sorry if i make any mistake.

my sound from google chrom just aint working. i have tried these steps

• resetting chrome
• reinstalling chrome
• reinstalling drivers
• restarting my machine
• checked if it was not muted
• checked with a youtube video if the sound bar in the mixed moved it did
• other sounds works fine like discord and edge etc etc etc

im now clue less what to do. asked some friends and they dont know either.

i got the lastest updates for my headset razer chroma kraker 7.1 and google chrome. windows is up2date.

To Block Windows 11 update, see the steps below, which is explained later on step by step. This would also work even if you have clicked Download and install.

• Right-click Start and select Windows Powershell(admin).
  
• Press Yes when Prompted.
  
• Type cmd.exe to open Command Prompt inside Powershell.
  

Paste the following command to enable Targeted Updates to a specific release:

• reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate /v TargetReleaseversion /t REG_DWORD /d 1
  

If you are on Windows 10 version 21H2, use the command below:

• reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate /v TargetReleaseversionInfo /t REG_SZ /d 21H2
  

If you are on Windows 10 version 21H1, use the command below:

• reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate /v TargetReleaseversionInfo /t REG_SZ /d 21H1
  

You should see the “The command completed successfully” message when you enter the commands.

 

Mouse and keyboard don't work on Windows install

no the drivers dont have anything to do with teh BIOS as im sure you already know. Even wireless mice work fine in most BIOS, this is strictly a driver issue with windows. the BIOS interprets communication of the peripherals on a hardware level.
