Windows 10: I can't uninstall Riot Client or Valorant

    RIOT Client for Windows

    This is just a topic of discussion.

    The Riot Client launcher seems to be pretty sneaky. I was uninstalling Valorant and found out there is no straight way to uninstall the Riot Client itself and the infamous Vangaurd anti-cheat.

    How can I tell this has been completely removed from my system?

    Have you tried uninstalling directly from the Windows settings ? Sometimes, if the Control Panel does not work, the modern Settings can help.

    Also, when you're clicking on the Uninstall button, does it take you to the Riot Client ? Or nothing happens ?

    Riot Vanguard uninstall error

    I have just uninstalled the riot vanguard client, and in the original folder I can't uninstall two files, called vgk.sys and vgk_2023-02-17_16-00-14. I tried to see if they were running in the background, but I didn't find them. Whenever I try to uninstall them it says that they are currently running and they need to be closed before deleting them.
