Windows 10: I can't set up my finger print sign-in. How to fix this??

It is showing as shown in the image I uploaded over and over again no matter how many times I try. When I am setting up the fingerprint sign in It scans my finger for a set number of times 4 to be exact and then when I put my finger on the scanner for the fifth time it shows this message no matter how many times I try

Hi,

Since your computer is not accepting your fingerprint anymore, what we can do is to remove all fingerprints from your account and set up a fingerprint again. See steps below:

Removing a fingerprint:

• Open the Settings app, and select Accounts.
• Click on Sign-in options on the left side, and click on
  Remove for Fingerprint under Windows Hello.

Setting up a fingerprint:

• Open the Settings app, and select Accounts.
• Click on Sign-in options on the left side, and click on Set up
  for Fingerprint under Windows Hello.
• Click on Get started.
• Enter your PIN to verify it's you.
• Scan your finger on the fingerprint reader. You will need to scan your finger a few times to set up with Windows Hello.
  
• When all set, click on Close.

what are file names for finger print sign-in

I ran a system mechanic clean scan and now my finger print sign-in won't work. System Mechanic gives me a list of files that were deleted, but I can't tell if any of them are related to the finger print sign-in files. Does anyone know the names of these
files or associated files?
