Windows 10: i cant hear in game voice chat in any game

so i have a speaker that connects via usb and 3.5mm on the back of my motherboard, and then i have a dedicated usb microphone, and then a headset with an inline mic and one without, i have configured my defualt sound settings in windows and checked steam as well as the in game sound settings, yet my friends can hear me but i cant hear them, any idea what to do?ryzen 7 5700x3d, rx7600xt 64 gb 3600 ram samsung evo 990 plus evo msi b450m pro vdh max650 watt psu4 tb wd blue hddcorsair icue link titan 360 if any of that helps

Can’t hear audio while recording games or videos

We will need some more information to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps. Please reply with the following details:

• How are you recording the games or videos?
  
• When you say, “I can't hear anything” you are unable to get the in-game audio or your voice?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  

If you are using Game bar to record the games or videos, I suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + I to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Gaming.
   
3. Click on Capture on the left pane.
   
4. Clear the check box for Record gaming audio only.
   
5. Follow the same steps for Broadcasting.

Can't hear anyone voice chat in any game

Hi, i am having a problem with my new laptop (dell insprion 15 7657). Now sure this is hardware or software issue, but in any game that i have tested: Rainbow six siege, foxhole, i can't just get my mate's voice chat. But the game's sound is still working
perfectly. I also not sure if this is the game problem or window so i just post on both side to see if anyone got this strange problem like me
