    Silhouette Cameo not working in Windows 10

    Original Title: Silhouette Cameo

    My Surface pro 3 will not recognize my Silhouette Cameo.

    Upon investigation the print driver reports "This device cannot start" "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API".

    Suggestions?

    USB 1 devices not working on Windows 10 Home edition

    HI - I haver an (admittedly oldish 2013) Silhouette Portrait Card and Vinyl Craft cutting machine - which has served me well for a long time and I have used to produce hundreds of cards and calendars for my family and friends, and I am very familiar with
    what settings I need to use, etc.

    It connects to my new laptop by a USB 1 cable, and my machine is not Bluetooth connected. My laptop is running windows 10 Home, (not S mode), and as I understand it Windows are now not supporting USB 1 connected machines, of which there must be millions
    still in use - and my machine no longer works on the Silhouette software and therefore I can't use it. My new laptop has USB 3 connections only, and I have tried a USB 2 hub but it doesn't work.

    Ok so the solution might be to purchase a new cutting machine - but these cost hundreds of Pounds which I can't afford at the moment. Does anyone have any suggestions of how it might be possible to restore the connection to my cutting machine / laptop (HP
    notebook from Argos) without having to throw my old cutter away?

    Remote Desktop not working for my Windows/10 machine

    I restored a computer to original Windows/10, set it to allow remote access, and still can't access it using Remote Desktop from another machine.

    They are both network connected to the same wireless router.

    I'm logged into the same Microsoft account on both.

    I'm trying to access it using either computername or IP address - neither works.

    I CAN successfully run TRACERT using either computername or IP address and both work.

    Windows Firewall does not list an application named "Remote Desktop" (still doesn't connect even if I turn the firewall off).

    Thoughts? Suggestions?
