Windows 10: I can't find WLAN AutoConfigWLANSVC Service anywhere!!!!

I can't find WLAN AutoConfigWLANSVC Service anywhere. I checked services, did tutorials and much more! I can't connect to wireless routers because they don't show up. I have to use the Bluetooth sharing. Please help me, my computer is like this for a month.

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

First Verify if the WLAN service is started and set to automatic, if the WLAN service is stopped, I would suggest you to start the service and put it to automatic.

Step 1: Please follow the steps to
start the WLAN service.

• 
  Click on Start, type in services.msc
  and press Enter.
  
• 
  Select WLAN Autoconfig from the list, Right click properties
  
• 
  Change the startup type to Automatic.
  
• 
  Click on Start button.
  
• 
  Click on Apply, Ok.
  

Restart the computer and verify if it works.

Also check if all the dependencies are also running. Try the steps to check Dependencies.

• 
  Right-click on WLAN Autoconfig and select Properties.
  
• 
  Click on Dependencies, you will find all the dependency services under box labeled this service depends on the following system components.
  

Step 2: If still you are facing issues, then
uninstall and reinstall the drivers

• 
  Click start.
  
• 
  Type devmgmt.msc in Start
  Search.
  
• 
  In Network adapter you will find the device, right click on it and select the option
  uninstall.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check reinstalling the drivers.

Weird process running - "Monitor Virutal Wlan Service"


I was checking my system configuration and happened across this weird one!



Note the spelling:
"Monitor Virutal Wlan Service" - "Virutal" rather than "Virtual" but either way, I can see no reference to such a process on the net.

Searching instead for "Virutal Wlan" turns up a number of items, some suggesting disable a process and some suggesting an infection.

I am running Windows 10 having gone via the 8.1 route without any serious problems. Used to be a member of the Seven Forum. Not really a technical expert, rather a fairly competent pensioner!

Any suggestions gratefully appreciated.

WLAN stopped working for no apparent reason. Cannot get it working again.

Thanks for replying to us with the status of your issue.

This might occur if the WLAN AutoConfic Service is not running in your system.

I suggest you to start WLAN AutoConfic Service manually and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps.

• 
  Login to your computer through Administrator account.
  
• 
  Press Windows key + r and type
  Services.msc, hit Enter.
  
• 
  Check for the WLAN AutoConfic Service.
  
• 
  On the top left panel in the Services windows, there is an option named Start. If it stopped, click on the
  Start option to start the service.
  
• 
  If the service is started the click they select the Restart Option to restart the service again.
