    I can't find a driver for Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000, USB 2.0, for Windows 11 Pro/64-bit.


    I can't find a driver for Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000, USB 2.0, for Windows 11 Pro/64-bit. In Computer Management there is Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000 in Device Manager but I can't use the webcam. It does not appear anywhere in the taskbar or anywhere else.How can this be solved?

    If you can't find drivers for LifeCam VX-1000 for Win 10

    1) Download .cab (I've used Microsoft - Communication Device - Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000 for Win7)

    2) Unzip it.

    3) Install driver manually from unziped folder

    Does not work with windows camera app, but works with 3-d side apps
