Windows 10: I can't close my Microsoft account because it says I am part of a work organization and I...

I follow the process to delete my old account and when I do, it says I need to leave my 'work organization'. I had no idea I was even part of a work organization. When I try to delete it, the page says everything is ok but I have to delete all 'License-based subscriptions'.I've followed advice on how to do this: which is going to the Billing tab, but I can't figure out what subscription I have besides the free version of Microsoft Teams. When I follow any link to try to manage subscriptions, I try to log in and it says I need to sign in with a work or school account which I have neither. How d

I'm looking for cloud based
accounting software for my small business so does Microsoft have a simple accounting system for new organization. Please suggest some list.

Your Microsoft account will not close.

If you proceed with closing or terminating your Microsoft account

Tell them to cancel their current business or organizational services and delete all Microsoft Entra tenants.

So I tried the following.

You can now close this tab.

As above, it says you must leave the organization before you can close the account, and if you try to leave the organization, you cannot leave this tenant.

So it doesn't close the account after all.

The current account is a personal account and does not belong to any organization (company).

 

Cannot link/add my Microsoft Account to Local Account

Hello Ken,

Im using Win10 Build 1607 with all latest update.

I also run all related troubleshooters:

• Windows Update
• Store Apps (says i have to login in my microsoft account but thats the problem, i can't)
• Microsoft Accounts

No Problem found. Also the suggestions from Microsoft didnt helped.
