Windows 10: I can't adjust the brightness on my Lenovo, how to adjust it?

My laptop is a Lenovo Ideapad Pro 5 16ARP8. My laptop won't let me change the brightness. The buttons won't work and when I go to change it from settings, the sliding bar is greyed out. I turned off Dynamic lighting but that didn't change anything. I restarted & turned off my laptop numerous times and it's still like this. It's on max brightness which is just using up so much of my battery plus it's hurting my eyes. I didn't change anything. Thank you.

• Were you able to see any error message/ error code with this issue?
• Have you tried to install all the pending updates for drivers and Windows Updates on your device?

This issue might have happened due to corrupted/ outdated drivers.
